It seems like God is already getting involved in RE:23

As of right now (Thurs, 12/15), we have $15,800 in our operating account. We have officially met our first RE:23 goal! Let's stop and celebrate that huge win! We are 1/4 of the way to full financial recovery where we have 3 months of expenses, a rebuilt margin. Just a reminder of where we came from, at the end of the summer we only had $3,300 in our operating account. "Praise God from whom all blessings flow!"
Gosh, it feels good to meet goals!
Since we met that goal so soon and have two more weeks in 2022, we are well on our way to our stretch goal of $20K, which would be 1/3 of the way there. So, we pulled out a pen and did some math on the back of a napkin and, if our estimates are correct, (conservatively based on past giving) then we expect to end the year at $19,500. Just $500 short of our stretch goal. That's a huge win in and of itself.

But wait, there's more!

As Free Methodists we are friends with other churches. One of our neighboring churches wanted to bless our community and share their resources toward what God is doing at Valley Chapel. They donated another $3,000!
Church, we thought $20K was an exciting stretch goal, but it seems that it wasn't much of a stretch for God. This feels like hope does it not? And hope has a way of inspiring us. As you consider your final giving before 2022 is over, if you have not yet given toward RE:23, then would you consider making an extra gift before the end of the year?

Whether you join-in financially or not, RE:23 is not just about money, it's about the future of our church community, it's about RE-imagining our future, RE-storing our excitement, RE-igniting our passion. Recovering financially is just the first step and we are well on our way.

Aren't you excited to see what God's going to do with all this?
