Pastor Ryan
I joined the Valley Chapel family in 2017 and stepped into the Lead Pastor role in 2020. Before ministry, I worked as a Data Analyst in a plastic packaging manufacturing plant, diving deep into materials, machinery, and data (and yes, I still geek out over a good spreadsheet). On the side, I played in a Celtic rock band—so if you ever want to talk theology and bodhran, I’m your guy.
When God nudged me toward ministry, I followed the call to Northeastern Seminary, where I earned my Master of Divinity with a focus on Transformational Leadership. Along the way, I also trained as a hospital chaplain, learning to meet people with compassion in life’s most sacred and vulnerable spaces.
These days, I’m passionate about helping people love God, love people, and make disciples. I believe worship should be something we do together, not just something we watch, which is why I’m especially drawn to liturgy—the “work of the people.”
When I’m not "pastoring," I’m usually spending time with my family, enjoying something nerdy, walking a local trail, or dreaming up new ways to make church sacred, playful, and deeply rooted in love.
Let’s grow together!
