Abagail: A Woman Who Saved the Day

I love sharing a good story and this series has some good ones for sure! This week we are going to be blessed by a special guest speaker who will share the story of Abagail (1 Samuel 25) with us. It's a true blessing to have spiritual mentors that guide us on our journey as well as examples to look up to. Characters in the story of the bible can play that role too, and Abagail is very much in the running for one of the best examples of a practical faith to look up to.

Our guest speaker is Rebecca Letterman, Professor of Spiritual Formation at Northeastern Seminary and who I want to be when I grow up. During my years in Seminary her teaching and friendship helped me in more ways than I can count. Having her join us for worship this Sunday is a real special treat and I have full confidence that her preaching will help us all encounter the living God this Sunday.
