Made a Way

As we inch closer to Thanksgiving week, I wanted to share a song that's been cycling in my head the past several days. Made a Way by Travis Greene starts with the singer in the midst of struggle and uncertainty. Even in that place, the lyrics affirm trust that God knows best and has it all in control. By the second verse, the singer has emerged on the other side of whatever crisis he was in and reminds himself of how God was present in those circumstances. As we find ourselves faced with our own uncertainty, frustration, and fear, I pray that we'll sing along with this song that God will make a way - has made a way - and we can be thankful even in the storm that we serve a God who holds us all in his hands. And when we emerge from this period of strain - and the difficult periods that we'll face throughout our lives - I pray too that we will be able to look back and see all the ways God held us and guided us through.
