Over 100 years serving here

How it all started...

Valley Chapel was planted as a congregation in 1920 right in the village of Warsaw, NY. Our original congregation gathered in tents in the village park and the first Pastor was a stone mason by trade. He purchased stone to build a church before being called to a different church. The pastor who followed was a woodworker who sold the stone to purchase wood and build the original building which now serves as the Town Court on the corner of Center St. and Brooklyn St.

This is just one small story. We are a church with a rich history that is woven into the fabric of Warsaw, NY and Wyoming County. This history is a constant reminder of how God has been at work in our area and how we are continually invited to live outside of the four walls of the building, serving our region in the name of Jesus.

Growing into a new space

In 1997 we opened the doors to our current facility south of the village and in 2012 we added a ministry center, both of which serve as powerful tools for sharing the love of Jesus. We host community outreach events, Food distributions, church gatherings, family parties, and many various programs at the facility. It is truly a gift to us and our community.

Where we are headed...

Valley Chapel is home. It's a place to belong, a place to grow, and a place to believe. We have deep roots and they allow us to reach out wide, welcoming our community into God's family. God is guiding us into a future full of transformation, peace, and restoration. We hope you will follow Him with us.
