Jesus is the Lion who is the Lamb

We all carry ideas about Jesus shaped by our culture, our upbringing, and our own desires—but Scripture invites us to meet the real Jesus. In Revelation 5, John is shown a breathtaking vision: the Lion of Judah who turns out to be the Lamb who was slain. In this sermon, we explore how Jesus holds perfect power and perfect sacrifice together, why only He is worthy to open God’s plan for the world, and how distorted views—like those seen in the seven churches—keep us from seeing Him clearly. This message calls us to lay down the partial or invented versions of Jesus we’ve carried, and to behold the One who is truly worthy.
