In Step Happenings
In Step is a journey through the weeks between resurrection and Pentecost, where the early church learned to depend on the Holy Spirit for guidance—and for the power to obey. They discovered how to walk together: listening, responding, and adjusting their pace as the Spirit led.
In this series, we’ll explore what it looks like to live in step with the Holy Spirit in everyday life—learning to listen attentively, sharing what we’re sensing with others, discerning and testing together in community, stepping forward in faithful obedience, and telling the stories of how God meets us along the way.
As we move toward Pentecost and prepare to launch our summer Prayer Partners initiative, In Step invites us to practice a shared way of life shaped not by urgency or certainty, but by trust in the Spirit who leads us.
There is a lot happening during this worship series. See the list below.
- Commissioning Prayer (4/26): We will be sending Pastor Ryan on a mission trip to Ecuador. Some of the ladies of our church will be going to a retreat in Pennsylvania. And, Pastor Ryan, our delegates, and others from our congregation will be going to the Annual Genesis Conference. We will be praying for all of those involved for a safe trip and go with God's leading.
- 24 Hour Prayer (4/26-27): We will be praying in our church for 24-hours starting April 26th at 12noon. Sign up for your spot in the foyer or call the church office.
- Ecuador Mission Trip (4/29-5/6): Pastor Ryan will be joining two others for a mission trip to Ecuador. Pray for him, his two travel companions, and their families as they are in Ecuador.
- S.H.E. Retreat (5/1-2): Many ladies from our congregation will be going to a retreat in Millan, Pennsylvania. Pray for safe travels and God's leading.
- Annual Genesis Conference (5/14-15): Many people the Genesis Confernce will be attending the annual conference. Pray for all of them to have safe travels and to follow God's leading.
- Stewarding Together Potluck Lunch (5/17): We will be coming together to celebrate our first season accomplishments, seeing what the second season has in store for us, and most of all to enjoy a meal and fellowship together.
- Prayer Partners (5/24): We will be launching our second summer of prayer partners. Look for ways to sign up a few weeks prior.
