In 2013, Valley Chapel FMC in Warsaw partnered with the Coleman Memorial FMC in Perry (since then the church has been renamed Hope Chapel FMC).

We are one church, with one mission, in two locations. By partnering together we extend our ministry area outside of simply one town or another. Instead, we are ministering to the whole region.

Valley chapel - Warsaw

Valley Chapel was established in 1920 as an extension site of the Perry Free Methodist Church. Over the years, the church grew and in 1997 relocated from its downtown Warsaw location to its present site on NY State Route 19 just south of the village.

We are a vibrant, growing family of people of all ages, backgrounds, and stages in their spiritual journey. We welcome anyone who is interested in seeking to know more about God and having a relationship with him. We have ministries that support and encourage children, youth, parents, grandparents, singles, young adults, millennials, and seniors in their faith journeys.

We have a heart for God and a love for our community that motivates us to care, serve, and reach out to others. Won't you join us on Sundays a 8:45 am or 10:45 am?

hope chapel - Perry

There has been a Free Methodist congregation in Perry since 1860. Just as the Civil War was about to break, a small group of Christians in the Perry area were removed from their church for taking a stand against slavery and discrimination towards the poor. This group of Christians eventually became the First Free Methodist Society of Perry, NY. In the 1970's the congregation changed its name to Coleman Memorial.

We are now Hope Chapel.

We have a sure hope that God is able to redeem our broken pasts.

We have a sure hope that God can work through us now, in the present.

We have a sure hope that God is our future, even beyond the grave.

You are invited to join our journey at 9:00am Sunday mornings,

5 Church Street, Perry, NY, 14530.
