OUr Mission

We actively reach out to people in the name of Jesus. We go to them, sharing the love of Jesus, the gospel, in word and in deed.

We accomplish this by being active in our Perry and Warsaw communities - giving out backpacks and school supplies to kids,

distributing free food through Foodlink,

handing out free water bottles at summer festivals,

hosting community events in our ministry center,

and in a variety of other ways year-round.

We have Good News and we actively find ways to share it.

Together we are learning what it looks like to live a Christ-centered life at this time in history, in our place in the world.

So we teach one another from the Scriptures.

Our large group teaching times are during our weekend services, but we also place a high emphasis on Small Groups, Sunday School classes, Youth Group, and other forms of more focused Spiritual growth.

Together we are "being transformed by renewing our minds"

(Romans 12:2)

In a broken and fragmented world, we look to the Healer.

As a church, we desire to help people find healing and wholeness in all of life - whether spiritual, emotional, physical, or relational.

We also work to Mend broken lives through our various ministries, such as Foodlink, Bread of Life, Caring Hands and Hearts, and in a number of other quiet ways.

We don't stay put.

Our goal is to equip each person so that he or she can help fulfill the church's task to restore the world to God.

We help people become disciples, grow as disciples, and serve as disciples.

This is most clearly seen in our missions work. Whether it's the local work our teens do each year at The Gate, or national relief efforts, or our international missions trips (see the picture from Haiti on the right), we go with the good news of God on our lips and in our hands.
