Community Life

Across both campuses there are ways for everyone to join fully into our Community Life and to grow in Christ - from the youngest infant to the oldest saint. We invite you to connect, jump in, and grow!

We love kids at Valley Chapel! That’s why we've designed an exciting, safe, and loving place for children to come and meet with God and friends. The first Sunday of each month is designated Family Sunday, where kids stay in service to worship with family and friends. See below for site-specific opportunities for kids!

Hope Chapel - PERRY

Nursery: (Newborn - PreK) Our Nursery is available each Sunday so that you can worship fully. The nursery is equipped with toys, a crib, and a loving staff. Children are engaged through interactive play and learning activities.

Children's Church: (K-5) Sundays during service, all children K-5 are invited to go to a special class designed specially for them. During Children's Church kids come to know God through Bible stories, making crafts, and interacting with one another.

Valley Chapel - Warsaw

Creator’s Kidz Sunday School: (Pre K - 5th Grade) Meets Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Instruction focused on Bible stories, character building, and understanding of Jesus’ ministry and salvation.

Infant Nursery: (Newborn - 18 months) Equipped with age appropriate toys, cribs, and loving staff, the children are engaged through interactive play and learning activities.

Toddler Nursery: (18 months - 3 yrs) Children participate in a Bible lesson, sing, and play as they learn about God’s love for them.

Creators Kidz Church Hour: (Pre K - 5th Grade) During the worship service, children are dismissed for an age-appropriate program that includes Bible drills, singing, crafts, hands on learning, and interaction.

Our youth ministry (thEdge) teaches about healthy relationships with God and others. We not only talk about how we ought to live, but learn how to do it through discussion, application, and experiences. Teens are encouraged to take leadership wherever their gifts are best used and to join service opportunities in the community.

Sunday School (Warsaw only): 9:30am classes for both Junior and Senior High.

Youth Group (Perry and Warsaw):  6th - 12th graders meet Sunday evenings at the Warsaw Ministry Center from 5-7pm. On the first Sunday of the month, the group meets at the Warsaw YMCA from 5-7:30pm for “Lift It Up,” an ecumenical Christian program for youth from around Wyoming County. Transportation is available from Perry. Please contact our Office Manager Lisa for details.

Serving: Every summer, the youth serve the community through “The Gate,” an overnight outreach event, designed to assist people with basic home projects, repairs, painting, yard work, etc. At Christmas time, the youth hold a free “Community Dinner” to reach out to those in need during the holidays. Other activities include overnight lock-ins, camping, mission projects and trips and more.

We believe that learning the faith is a life-long journey. Each of the following Adult Ministries are geared towards growing in both knowledge and commitment to our God.

A variety of small groups meet at the church or in homes throughout the month. These informal, discussion oriented studies encourage spiritual growth and personal faith sharing with others. For more information on current Life Groups, contact Pastor Todd.
