First Saturdays @ Valley Chapel

On the first Saturday of each month, we meet at the church (8:00am) and assemble into teams. These teams are formed according to ability and need and then sent out to complete tasks and projects that have been called into the church. These projects are needs identified throughout our community where we feel God has called us to be healers and restorers. We conclude the workday at noon with lunch back at the church.

First Saturday is an extension of the Master’s Hand ministry of the Valley Chapel. It is formed from the instruction of Scripture (1 Peter 4:10-11):

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others; faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

.

Anyone and everyone is invited to participate; churches, civic groups, schools, or anyone with a desire to simply serve our community. We Meet at the church on Saturday at 8:00am. You might want to wear comfortable working clothes, work gloves, and work boots, but the only required item is a “great attitude.” We want you to wear this for sure!

We’ll conclude our workday at noon (12:00pm) and meet back at the church for a free luncheon. That’s it…no strings attached. More information can be obtained by calling the church direct or by using the email form in the contact link at the top of this page.
